2024 Annual Campaign
Date: Until December 31st, 2024 at 11:59 pm
Description: So, what does the owl have to do with mental health? Well, an owl is a symbol of wisdom and intuition- the ability to see beyond the surface. The more you listen, the more you hear, the more you hear, the more you can be there for someone else, and like the wise owl, you can use your intuition to see if there is someone around you who is silently struggling. Look for displays of low mood, hopelessness and withdrawal, as just some of the telltale symptoms that something is wrong. Please donate to MHA’s end of year campaign to help support our programs which can alter the course of someone’s life. Nearly 1 in 4 adults struggle with some type of mental health challenge. A $25 contribution can pay for a virtual Mental Health First Aid Training, and a $50 contribution can pay for an ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training). Each donation of any size can help us to continue to provide wellness groups, stress management trainings, mental health conferences, and more to the community at no charge. Thank you, and may your holiday season be blessed with health, wisdom and keen intuition.
